Force Women to Play Tacoma Narrows FC at FFD 18

September 18, 2018

Force Foundation Day is entering its 3rd year officially.  FFD has always featured the Force Legends Game at the end of the day, showcasing the current roster of players for the WISL season mixed with the Force Legends of 2 decades ago.  FFD has always featured an Army vs Navy, The Pride of Land and Sea Game.  The Army won the first year and the Navy won last year with this year's match giving one of the two teams a lead in the series.  Last year FFD featured the first ever 5k Race that was won by Force Women's Player Liz Oba.  This year there will be a 5k and 10k as we raise money to support Breast Cancer Awareness and Kitsap Cancer Services.

And there has always been a Force Women's exhibition game...until now.  Instead of the Force Women being drafted onto two separate teams and playing each other in an exhibition game, they will now finally get to play together in a competitive match.

We are pleased to announce that on Force Foundation Day, October 20th, 2018 at Oly-Pen SPORTS in Pendergast Park, the Oly-Pen FORCE Women will take on Tacoma Narrows FC at 5:15 PM in the first ever women's competitive indoor match.  Stay tuned in to the Force Foundation Facebook Page for more details.

As always, FFD has free admission but we strongly encourage everyone to donate to the cause and help us raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness and Kitsap Cancer Services.
